We are delighted to confirm that the final concert in this season's Sunday Concert Series will be our Summer Gala Concert with the prestigious London Handel Players:

Rachel Brown, flute

Adrian Butterfield, violin

Gavin Kibble, viola da gamba

Silas Wollston, harpsichord

The programme is as follows:

Telemann: Sonata Seconda in G minor from Six Quatuors

Leclair: Sonata à Trois for violin and gamba No.8 in D major (Second livre)

J.S. Bach: Organ Trio in Bb major for flute, violin and basso continuo BWV 530

Rameau: Pièces de Clavecin: Concert No.5 in D minor

Quantz: Flute Sonata No.275 in Bb major

Domenico Scarlatti: Keyboard Sonata in A major K.24

Handel: Se pietà from Giulio Cesare in Egitto HWV 17

(please note concert programmes may be subject to change)

You are invited to bring a picnic to eat during the longer interval of this concert. This may be eaten in or out of doors depending on the weather. You are welcome to bring your own tables and chairs or picnic blankets although we can provide a limited number.

The 2022/23 Sunday Concert Series is a series of concerts in conjunction the Royal Northern College of Music.

Crosby Hall Educational Trust brings you the most exciting young talent in the music world today. Our intimate auditorium in the renovated Great Barn (with a beautiful grand piano provided by the National Lottery) makes an ideal venue for this type of music. The performers are specially selected for their exceptional talent and prospects.

Ticket price for concerts in the series includes an interval drink and canapés, except for the Summer Gala Concert.
