Pablo Devigo

Spanish conductor and harpsichordist Pablo Devigo has been repeatedly praised for his strong commitment and passion in his performances. During the 2019-2020 season, Pablo served as the Conducting Fellow at the Carmel Symphony Orchestra (IN, USA). In 2020 he made his Spanish debut with the Royal Philharmonic of Galicia (Spain). Some of his most re- cent appearances include the 2021 Khachaturian International Conducting Competition (in which Pablo reached the final round). In the field of Early Music, Pablo is the co-founder and harpsichordist of MĂșsica dâOutrora, an UK-based Early Music ensemble focused primarily on early 17th Century Italian and the French Baroque.
A native of Castro Caldelas, Spain, Devigo has had a wide interdisciplinary musical training. Pablo was recognized in 2015 with a Fulbright Scholarship to continue his conducting studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music. In 2018 he was the recipient of a fellowship at the Aspen Music Festival. Pablo has been fortunate to receive guidance from maestros such as William Christie, Bernard Haitink, Fabio Luisi, Dima Slobodeniouk, Robert Spano, and David Zinman. Pablo is currently pursuing a Masterâs degree in Harpsichord at the Royal Conservatory The Hague under Fabio Bonizzoni and Patrick Ayrton.
