Do I need to sign up to use the Continuo Connect site?Everyone is welcome to browse Continuo Connect. If you wish to receive concert recommendations, highlights of articles and interviews, and our curated playlists, sign up to our fortnightly newsletter.
Do you have a mailing list?We have a fortnightly newsletter that will be delivered direct to your inbox. You may sign up for the newsletter (powered by Substack) here.
How can I book tickets for an upcoming concert?To book tickets for an upcoming event, click on the 'Book Tickets' button on the event page. This will open a new tab on the website where tickets may be purchased. Continuo Connect does not take payments nor do we take any commission on ticket sales.
How can I give feedback or make a suggestion about the Continuo Connect website?We welcome all feedback and any suggestions! Please contact us with your comments.
How is Continuo Connect linked to Continuo Foundation?Continuo Connect is the not-for-profit digital initiative of Continuo Foundation (UK registered charity no. 1194382).

Artists, festivals, and events

How can I list my concert or event on Continuo Connect?If you have already registered an Artist or Festival account on our Admin Portal, please login there. There is no password to remember, the system will send a magic link to your registered email address. Please contact support@continuoconnect.com for assistance.
How can I create a profile for my group on Continuo Connect?

To apply for an Artist profile, please complete the new artist form on our Admin Portal. Please note the following guidelines for eligibility:

  • You are a professional ensemble or solo artist
  • You play period instruments or sing early music vocal repertoire
  • You have presented at least three (3) public concerts or released a commercial recording in the last 12 months

If in doubt, please get in touch to discuss your eligibility before applying.

How can I create a profile for our festival or concert series on Continuo Connect?

To apply for a profile for an Early Music Festival or Concert Series, or if you are a festival or concert series with a significant early music strand, please complete the new festival form on our Admin Portal. Our definition of early music for the purpose of event listings is:

  • Any repertoire played on period instruments in a historically-informed style
  • Vocal repertoire from before ca. 1850 sung in a historically-informed style

Does Continuo Connect only support Continuo Foundation grantees?Continuo Connect Artist profiles are available to all professional UK-based ensembles and soloists working in the early music / historically informed performance sector.
Does having a profile on Continuo Connect mean I am eligible to apply for a grant?Continuo Foundation grants are available to professional period instrument ensembles resident in the UK with a minimum of three (3) instrumentalists and an identity as a group. Festivals, vocal ensembles, duos and solo artists are not eligible to apply for a grant but may form part of a project applying for Continuo Foundation funding.
