Rie Kosaka

Harp

Rie Kosaka met the medieval harp while studying historical performance under Belinda Sykes and Tim Travers-Brown at Trinity Laban, where she won the Ella Kidney Prize for early music. Rie went on to study her masters at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Dr. Andrew Lawrence-King receiving scholarships from the Guildhall Trust and the Nomura Foundation. Rie is keen on medieval and renaissance music and singing with the harp. This summer, Rie is invited Trobarea festival in southern France, and performing at Hokutopia international music festival in Japan this December. She enjoys her musical journey with her 10 harps.
