Biography
Queen Victoria's Consort is an ensemble made of some of the country's leading brass musicians, it specialises in bringing to life a museum quality collection of original 19th century musical instruments. The group has performed at Buckingham Palace, Alexandra Palace, Cambridge University (to name but a few) and for organisations such as the London Transport Museum, English Heritage and Lincoln Castle. The musicians perform dressed in Victorian 'Sunday best' and our instruments are beautiful surviving originals. We aim to connect with audiences both through music and history. We love to share our passion for the time period, instruments and the sound they make.
