'Nyth Eos' or A Nest of Nightingales
Linnet Baroque performs vocal and instrumental music written by Thomas Linley the elder, first musical director of the Bath Assembly rooms & his son, also Thomas, a childhood friend of Mozart. Also featuring music by their teachers & virtuosic arias performed by Elizabeth Linley, famous for her interpretations of Handel's 'bird song' arias. We are thrilled that Timothy Roberts has composed a work for us, which will premiere at this concert.

Music by the Linleys, Handel, Boyce, Jackson, Nardini & the premiere of Timothy Roberts' composition for soprano & bass viol 'Mrs Sheridan to Her Brother's Violin'.
