Nicolas de Grigny: Livre d'Orgue
The organ in the Grosvenor Chapel was built by William Drake of Buckfastleigh, Devon, in 1991. It is a superb, classical organ, perfect for the colourful and joyful nature of de Grigny's music. In addition, Alastair's wife, Gill, will sing a motet by Nicholas-Antoine Lebègue, Ave Verum Corpus, and three members of their musical family will join Gill in the plainsong verses in the Gloria of de Grigny's Mass.
