This concert is a special Early Voices project featuring Welsh group ContraBand and Kurdish-Iranian duo Sazava, in a new and exciting partnership.

Exploring European medieval as well as traditional Persian music, audiences will be able to experience surprising connections between these two musical worlds. With an array of period and ethnic musical instruments, this crossover concert will revisit our past and create new and exciting music through the practice of improvisation.
