Ensemble Molière

Hidden Gems at the Foundling Museum

Hidden Gems at the Foundling Museum
Ensemble Molière is one of the most widely respected young Baroque ensembles in Europe. Returning to the Festival, they bring a programme of beautiful and rarely heard collections of 18th-century French Baroque chamber music paired with its more well-known counterparts.

Starting with Handel’s rarely performed Overture, discover something new with rare performances of Dandrieu’s suspenseful Italianate trio sonata and Guillemain’s virtuosic quartet.

The performance is preceded by a special talk by Dr Katharine Hogg, the Librarian of the Gerald Coke Handel Collection. Tickets include access to both the talk, performance and the Foundling Museum.
