Francesco Scarlatti, once overlooked as part of a renowned musical dynasty, is now in the spotlight thanks to Armonico Consort and its founder-director, Christopher Monks. Their first modern performance of his thrilling oratorio Daniele in January 2024 marked a triumphant revival.
The programme also features Handel’s Dixit Dominus (HWV 232).
