THE TRUMPET SHALL SOUND!

To celebrate Harlestone church's 700th anniversary, distinguished baroque trumpeter David Blackadder joins Fiori for a splendid concert of music by Bach, Handel and Marcello.

David, who was trumpeter for the royal wedding in 2018, will join forces with the Fiori Musicali chamber ensemble and bass Andrew Tipple for Handel's famous aria 'The trumpet shall sound', from Messiah. Also in the programme is Marcello's beautiful concerto for oboe and strings with favourite oboist Gail Hennessy, and JS Bach's exquisitely beautiful and much loved cantata Ich habe genug.
