At their late autumn meeting, the Lute Society will welcome the great scholar-performer and one of the modern masters of the instrument, Anthony Bailes, who will disentangle some of the tangled threads of 17th century form and style.

The concert will be preceded by talks, including one on Commedia dell'arte, and other mini-recitals, all part of the Lute Society meeting. Events start at 11am and are free and open to all; only the final recital is ticketed (see details below).
