We are delighted to announce that on January 30th Nathaniel Mander and his fine spinet, La Pompadour, will be returning to Hampstead Lane.

Regular attendees at Salon Music concerts may remember that they first visited fifteen months ago for La Pompadour's inaugural London outing. At that point she looked very splendid but did not yet have her full complement of roses, nor her cabriole legs and fine golden cloven feet. But now you will be able to see - and hear - her in her full glory.

PROGRAMME:
To celebrate their return Nathaniel will be playing a full programme of Bach:
Preludes, suites, rondeaux and minuets from the Anna Magdalena Bach books. These are the manuscript notebooks that Johann Sebastian presented to his second wife, the singer Anna Magdalena Wilcke.
