Andrew Parrott is joined by friends including Jakob Lindberg (archlute & guitar), Richard Boothby (viol), Emily Van Evera (soprano) and Charles Daniels (tenor) in an abridged reconstruction of a Taverner Consort programme from 1982. With the original title of ‘Good King Charles’s Golden Days,’ this programme creates a dialogue between the diaries of Samuel Pepys and John Evelyn and the music of Matthew Locke, John Blow, Henry Purcell and others.
