Handel Birthday Concert

James Gilchrist (tenor), Christopher Gibson (trumpet)
Handel Birthday Concert
Acclaimed international tenor James Gilchrist will sing Handel’s famous aria “Waft her Angels” and Junior Guildhall student Chris Gibson will sound his trumpet in a programme by Handel & his contemporaries with Julian Perkins on harpsichord and members of Sounds Baroque.

Thanks to the continuing generosity of Bob and Elisabeth Boas, this celebration will take place in the magnificent drawing room of their former home, built in the 1770s and designed by Robert Adam.

The suggested cost of £85 per guest includes the music, wine, and canapes afterwards, and a voluntary donation of £50 per person. This optional donation supports Coram’s work to ensure better chances for all children. Gift Aid will be applied to all eligible donations.
