A 45 minute musical adventure to the Tudor period, as acclaimed early music ensemble Stile Antico take centre stage, captivating audiences of all ages at a special free choral music event designed for school groups, young people and their families.

Explore the life and music of Renaissance composer William Byrd, who lived over 400 years ago!

Discover who Byrd was, what types of music he composed, and why he thought singing was so important.

During the concert there are opportunities to get involved, including taking part in a new piece of music, composed by Kerry Andrew and commissioned specially for Byrd’s 400th anniversary in 2023.

This interactive concert is designed for 7 – 15 year olds but all ages are welcome to attend (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult).
