The Players of The Hampstead Collective will perform an all-Schubert programme on period instruments. From lakes to rivers and the life within them, this programme explores Schubert’s connection to the natural world through the lens of aquatic Enlightenment era romanticism. The ensemble, together with Steven Devine on fortepiano and soprano Christine Buras, will perform The Trout Quintet and songs including: Auf dem Strom, Auf dem Wasser Zou Singen, Meeres Stille.
