Sounds Historical are a group of musicians specialising in early music.
Their repertoire spans the Medieval period to the 18th century - performing on an exciting array of period instruments including Viols, Recorders, Mandolin, Lute, Theorbo, Baroque Flute and more!
Throughout each of their concerts, the ensemble members talk about their instruments, the composers and the historical context of the pieces within the programmes. Their aim is to make Sounds Historical concerts accessible, informative and enjoyable for all ages.
