Fiori welcome the New Year with scintillating arrangements of symphonies that Haydn wrote for his trip to England in the 1790s. These brilliant adaptations for flute and strings were created by Haydn's impressario JP Salomon, who masterminded what Dr Charles Burney described as "electrifying" performances of these new Grand Overtures.

Judit Felszeghy joins Fiori for little known arias by the young Mozart and Kerstin Linder-Dewan & Poppy Walshaw perform music by Salomon himself.
