Established in 1997, ILAMS presents its flagship annual event, Echoes Festival of Latin Classical Music, alongside other concerts throughout the year in London and the North. Inspired by a desire to celebrate the historical diversity of classical music, our aim is to showcase the rich legacy of classical music from the Luso and Hispanic worlds across all periods, from the earliest Medieval repertoire to the latest contemporary works. We are proud of our track record of providing a UK debut platform for Early music artists and ensembles from Spain, Portugal and Latin America, including outstanding groups such as Dichos Diabolos and La Guirlande, amongst many others, and offering UK audiences the chance to hear repertoire never performed before on these shores.
