About
The Georgian Concert Society is dedicated to the promotion of historically informed performances of the highest standard on period instruments. Past artists include Chelys Consort of Viols, Florilegium, La Serenissima, London Handel Players, Apollo's Cabinet, Bach Players, Sofie Vanden Eynde, London Haydn Quartet, The Marian Consort, His Majesty's Sackbutts and Cornets to name a few.
St Cecilia’s Hall is the oldest purpose-built concert hall in Scotland. Groups performing here as part of our series are fortunate to be able to play keyboard instruments from the University of Edinburgh's collection.
